1. Relevance first
Chunqiu Risk does not aim to reproduce the news cycle.
Developments are selected because they contribute meaningfully to the risk picture: by changing operating conditions, affecting exposure, signalling a shift in policy or behaviour, or adding material context to an issue already being monitored.
The objective is not maximum volume. It is sustained coverage of developments that matter.
2. Source discipline
Intelligence is built from a broad open-source environment that includes official publications, government and regulatory material, established media, specialist reporting and other relevant public sources.
Source origin and traceability are retained wherever possible.More consequential, uncertain or contested developments may require additional verification or corroboration.
Source quality is treated as part of the assessment, not as an afterthought.
3. Structured analysis
Relevant developments are transformed into consistent intelligence records rather than stored as isolated articles or alerts.
Signals are assessed through a structured framework that can include geographic context, risk domain, risk level, time horizon, exposure pathways, affected functions and analytical interpretation.
This consistency makes intelligence easier to compare, search and revisit over time.

AI supports the processing of large volumes of source material and helps Chunqiu Risk operate at the scale required for continuous monitoring.
It does not determine what matters on its own.
Analytical priorities, relevance standards, publication logic and quality controls remain human-defined. Human judgement is applied through methodology design, targeted review, exception handling and analytical oversight.
